The Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM) is excited to bring you MAAM Encores—a virtual learning series. Each session offers practical insights, innovative strategies, and inspiring stories from across the museum field.

How can museums create experiences that welcome visitors of all backgrounds and abilities? This session shares over a decade of inclusive design practice, with case studies showcasing multisensory and multimodal ways to explore exhibits. Learn practical strategies from design, collections, programming, and accessibility experts working across diverse settings, budgets, and content. Discover how universal design principles can help make museum experiences more engaging and accessible for everyone.

Join colleagues from across the region (and beyond!) for interactive presentations, Q&A sessions, and opportunities to connect with peers—without leaving your desk. Whether you missed the original conference session or want to dive deeper into the topic, Encores brings expert knowledge straight to you. Free for MAAM Members; Non-members: $15. Free for 2025 Annual Conference Attendees: Registration Code, 2025MAAMATTENDEE
