MAAM MeetUp: Brooklyn Museum

Meet up with museum professionals and explore the Brooklyn Museum, which is celebrating its 200th year in October! 

The highlight of the tour will be a private, small-group, 1-hour tour of the museum’s American art galleries, led by the exhibition designer. After the tour concludes, we are all welcome to continue our visit to the museum either on our own or in groups.

The new exhibition, “Toward Joy: New Frameworks for American Art,” is described as “a transformative reinstallation of the American Art galleries [that] will reorient the ways that the Brooklyn Museum exhibits—and audiences rediscover—this acclaimed collection. A kaleidoscopic display will offer paradigm-shifting interactions with millennia of art.”
